So you have a verticle feed marker. . .But you don't have the money to buy an agitated hopper? Or are you just waiting for the HALO TSA to come out? Either way, you don't have to worry about chopping balls anymore with your standard gravity fed loader.

Okay, so why is there an article on sponsors in a book dedicated to Recreational Paintball? Funny you should ask that. Sponsorship does have a place in Rec-Ball. However, it is not the same as if you are a tourney team. The BEST tip I can give you is to get sponsors in this order: Local, Regional, and National. Approach paintball businesses in your area first, then those in your region (state/province) and then go for the larger sponsors.

Method 1
Materials:
-A section of 1/8" rubber tubing about a foot long. (available at hose supply stores, medical supply stores, or chemistry supply stores.) Alternately, you could use a used SquadBuster.
-A plastic clip tie
-A large syringe ( if you don't have medical friends, you can find syringe like "emergency pumps for basketballs" in your local sporting goods store)
-Some paint (either boiled down paintballs or children’s washable non-toxic paint
-A pair of hemostats
-Some ball bearings of slightly larger diameter than the tubing (you can find these in your hardware store)
-Some cotter pins
-Some alcohol
-A rubber band (optional)

First off you'll need a C02 tank, I reccomend 20 pound tank, they are the kind used in soda fountains. Go to your local paintball shop and get the connection valves (for your mini tank). Ask your paintball dealer how to fill the tanks, and then find a welding supply place to fill it up. Once you have a tank here are two methods:

This is the easiest trick to learn, and you will always use it throughout your paintball days. Basically all you got to do is know where your target is.

When I say "pistol" I mean a small marker, with no stock, usually powered by 12 grams (or it can be powered by 3.5 oz tanks, or a remote system). It is fed by a small bulk loader, a stick feeder, a spring fed magazine or a limited capacity stockgun. The pistol can be a pump or a semi. I recommend a short (10 - 15 shot capacity) stick feeder for direct feed markers. (It's what I use.) Those who like to play with pistols will be referred to as "Pistoleros".
Playing with a pistol can be fun. I have a pump pistol and a semi pistol and I have always found it to be just as much fun as playing with a bulk-loading constant air marker. Maybe more fun.
However, you are going to have some . . .
